"The OG Influencer": South Africa's First-Ever Multi-Owner OOH Collaboration Turns the Billboard Into a Cultural Statement
For the first time in South Africa, nine major out-of-home media owners — Primedia Outdoor, JCDecaux, Tractor Outdoor, Provantage, Reveel, Relativ Media, Alive Advertising, Evolv Outdoor, and Innovocean — joined forces on a single campaign. Creative agency Boundless and DOOH.co.za built the platform. The result: billboards reading "No one throws shade like me" and "Make Everything Outdoor" across Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban, reigniting industry pride in physical media at a moment when digital commands all the budget conversation.
